Reviving the blog...

Welcome to the Belles Familles Blog. This is intended on being an informative product review page, a place you can enter giveaways, hear about new products, specials, and what ever else I feel like telling you about at the time I am feeling like writing!

I hope I will give this a bit more time than last time the blog was around... with social media being such a big part of business happenings now it is about time I got with the program so to speak.

I will also be documenting some of my own parenting experiences along the way too. Parenting is personal and often a gut instinct is better guide than a book or expert can be. There might be something in my experience that helps you, there might not. All I ask is that you don't judge me on how I have parented our daughter. We have made it to 6 years of being parents with minimal drama's and have a happy and healthy, well rounded, polite and intelligent human being who knows right from wrong, left from right and up from down. For those of our friends who know or have met Amelia I hope you will agree with me! This is a photo of her taken on a family holiday in June 2011 at Dubbo Zoo with a toy she purchased with her own money, a toy otter she named Brittany (after the Chipettes from Alvin and the Chipmunks!).

Being a mum is the toughest job you will ever have. It has the worst hours and the lousiest pay but the rewards are better than any bonus you will ever be given! My journey has been an interesting one and one that was clouded very much in the first 12 months with the darkness of PND, problems breastfeeding, settling Amelia (what a nightmare that was), coping with shiftwork and one salary... it was (and sometimes still is) an interesting journey!

I will share with you the reasons behind starting Belles Familles, how it all started and why and where I plan to take the business in the not too distant future.

I am still learning my way around Blogger so bear with me as I fumble and plod my way through. If you notice typo's please tell me! Become a follower if you'd like to. Most of all, this is a bit of fun. There is a serious side to business but I am real, I am a mum and I do get it. I write like I talk, I am pretty personal and take my business personally, too personally at times!  This isn't always to everyone taste but so is writing like a review in the financial times, Each to their own. I am a believer in like attracting like.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
